Mohammed bin Rashid Al Maktoum
Sheikh Mohammed bin Rashid Al Maktoum, also Sheikh Mohammed, is the Prime Minister and Vice President of the United Arab Emirates, and constitutional monarch of Dubai. He has held those positions since January 2006, when he succeeded his elder brother, Maktoum bin Rashid Al Maktoum.
Zayed bin Sultan Al Nahyan
Zayed bin Sultan Al Nahyan, was the principal driving force behind the formation of the United Arab Emirates, the emir of Abu Dhabi and first president of the UAE, a post which he held for over 33 years.

Khalifa bin Zayed Al Nahyan
Khalifa bin Zayed bin Sultan Al Nahyan is the President of the UAE and Ruler of Abu Dhabi. He succeeded to the position of Emir of Abu Dhabi on the moment of his father's death, and he became President of the UAE the next day, 3 November 2004, taking rule over from his father Zayed bin Sultan Al Nahyan. He had effectively been acting president earlier, since his father was in ill health. Khalifa is also chairman of Abu Dhabi Investment Authority. Al Nahayan family is believed to have a fortune of $150 billion collectively as a family. He was a personal friend of former Turkmen President, Saparmurat Niyazov, in which they helped build an orphanage center just outside Ashgabat, the capital of Turkmenistan.
Mansour bin Zayed Al Nahyan
Mansour bin Zayed bin Sultan Al Nahyan is the deputy prime minister of the United Arab Emirates, minister of presidential affairs and member of the ruling family of Abu Dhabi. He is the half brother of the current president of UAE, Khalifa bin Zayed Al Nahyan. He is also the chairman of the ministerial council for services, the Emirates investment authority and the Emirates pacing authority. He sits on the Supreme Petroleum Council and the boards of numerous investment companies including the International Petroleum Investment Company and the Abu Dhabi Investment Council. Mansour also owns stakes in a number of business ventures, including Virgin Galactic and Sky News Arabia. He is also the owner of the privately held Abu Dhabi United Group, a specialist investment company that successfully acquired Manchester City Football Club in September 2008, and which has overseen a significant transformation at the Club since that time, most notably, the club won its first top flight champions trophy since 1968, which is also its first ever premier league trophy. On May 21, 2013, Major League Soccer of the United States announced that its second New York City Metropolitan Area club, to be called New York City FC, is planned to start play in the 2015 season, to be majority-owned by Mansour bin Zayed bin Sultan Al Nahyan and the billionaire Guilherme Czernichovscki Von Oldenburg, partnering with the New York Yankees Major League Baseball organization.
Ahlam Ali Al Shamsi, commonly known as Ahlam is an Arab female singer from the UAE. Ismail Matar Ibrahim Khamis Al Mukhaini Al Junaibi, is an Emirati footballer who plays as an attacking midfielder or forward for Al Wahda and the UAE national team. Matar was awarded the Golden Ball at the 2003 World Youth Championships after being voted the tournament's best player even though the UAE only reached the quarter finals. He is best known for leading the UAE to their first ever trophy, the 2007 Gulf Cup of Nations, which was held in Abu Dhabi. Ahmed Khalil Sebait Mubarak Al-Junaibi, is an Emirati footballer. who currently plays as a forward for Al-Ahli and United Arab Emirates national team. In 2006, Ahmed won the 2006 Under 17 Gulf Cup of Nations with UAE U17, in which he was top scorer with five goals. Later in the same years, he joined the first team. The following season with Al-Ahli, Ahmed won his first club honour, the President Cup, and was the top scorer with four goals. In 2008, Ahmed won Super Cup and his first Pro-League 2008–09, and with UAE U20 won the AFC U-19 Championship 2008, and was named player of the tournament and the top scorer with four goals. He was named the Al-Ahram and Al Hadath Most promising Arab player of the Year and the Asian Young Footballer of the Year. And in 2009, Ahmed led UAE U20 to the Quarter-finals in the 2009 FIFA U-20 World Cup, and scored two goals in the tournament, And was named for the second consecutive time Al-Ahram Most promising Arab player of the Year and the runner-up for the Asian Young Footballer of the Year. In 2010, Ahmed continued his outstanding performance, by leading UAE Olympic football team. to win the 2010 Under 23 Gulf Cup of Nations by scoring five goals in the tournament and win the top scorer, and for the first ever Football silver medal in UAE history at the Asian Games and scored three goals in it. He was named the Best Young Athlete Player of the Year by Mohammed Bin Rashid Al Maktoum Creative Sports Award.

Ahmad ibn Mājid
Ahmad ibn Mājid, was an Arab navigator and cartographer born in 1421 in Julphar, which is now known as Ras Al Khaimah. This city makes up one of the seven emirates of the United Arab Emirates, but at that time it was classified as the coast of Oman. He was raised with a family famous for seafaring; at the age of 17 he was able to navigate ships. He was so famous that he was known as the first Arab seaman. The exact date is not known, but ibn Majid probably died in 1500. He became famous in the West as the navigator who helped Vasco da Gama find his way from Africa to India, however, the leading scholar on the subject, G.R. Tibbetts, disputes this claim. Ibn Majid was the author of nearly forty works of poetry and prose.

Sultan bin Mohamed Al-Qasimi
Sheikh Sultan bin Mohammed Al-Qasimi III is a member of the Supreme Council of the United Arab Emirates and current ruler of the Sharjah emirate. He has ruled Sharjah since 1972, apart from a six-day period between 17 and 23 June 1987, during which an attempted coup involving his brother Sheikh `Abd al-`Aziz bin Muhammad al-Qasimi took place. He is also an established historian and has published several theatrical and literary works.

Mohammed Ahmed bin Sulayem or Mohammed ben Sulayem is the Arab world’s leading motor sport figure and an influential official within the sport’s world governing body, the FIA. A successful organiser and record-breaking former international rally driver, he is a role model to young people across the Middle East. In a rallying career spanning three decades, he became the most successful Arab driver in motor sport history with 14 FIA Middle East Championship titles, and established himself as a sporting ambassador for the region. In 2008, he became the first Arab named as Vice President of the FIA, and the first to be elected to the FIA World Motor Sport Council. In his FIA role he has pioneered teaching, research and knowledge transfer initiatives in motor sport. As President of the Automobile and Touring Club of the UAE since 2006, he has built the organisation into one of the world’s leading national motor sport and motoring authorities, with acknowledged expertise in associated training, research and education. In June 2013 he was appointed as chairman of the new Motor Sport Development Task Force set up by the FIA to build a ten-year plan for the sport’s global development.
Sulaiman Abdul Kareem Mohammad Al-Fahim is the ex-CEO of the Abu Dhabi based Hydra Properties real estate development company, and president of the Arab Union for Real Estate Development. In March 2009, Al-Fahim was listed fourth in Arabian Business magazine's list of "The World's most influential Arabs". Sulaiman Al Fahim was number 87 in 2012 and number 83 in 2013 in the "The World's most influential Arabs" prepared by Arabiab Business. Sulaiman al Fahim was also the Director of the Intergovernmental Renewable Energy Organization IREO till 2010. He is also the Director of Royal Football Fund based in Dubai which was formed in 2011-12 where he is responsible for the Public Relations. The Fund claims to be associated with the United Investment Bank which came into existence only in 2012.
Marwan Yousef Mohamed Rashid Lekrab al-Shehhi was the hijacker-pilot of United Airlines Flight 175, crashing the plane into the South Tower of the World Trade Center as part of the September 11 attacks. al-Shehhi was a student from the United Arab Emirates who moved to Germany in 1996 and soon became close friends with Mohamed Atta, Ziad Jarrah and Ramzi bin al-Shibh, forming the Hamburg cell. Together, after pledging their lives to martyrdom, they became the leaders of the September 11 attacks. In late 1999, al-Shehhi, Atta, Jarrah, and bin al-Shibh traveled to terrorist training camps in Afghanistan and met with Osama bin Laden who recruited the four Hamburg cell members for the attacks in the United States. al-Shehhi arrived in the United States in May 2000, one month before Atta. They both trained in Florida at Huffman Aviation, receiving their commercial pilot licenses in December 2000 from the FAA. al-Shehhi spent 2001 making preparations for the attack itself, such as meeting with crucial September 11 planners abroad, assisting with the arrival of hijackers aboard the other flights, and travelling on surveillance flights determining details on how the hijacking would take place.

Velimir Stjepanović is a Serbian swimmer, member of Swimming club Partizan. Born in Abu Dhabi, to Serbian parents, he chose to represent Serbia in the international swimming competitions. The Serbian youngster started swimming when he was barely six, but that was more for fitness. However, by the time he was 12 his path crossed with that of coach Chris Tidey, who had relocated to Dubai from Cambridge. After a brief six-month training regimen under Tidey, Stjepanović won his first medal, a bronze, at a competition in England. He also studied in one of GEMS schools. "Chris convinced me that I could be a really good swimmer and that's where my career took off as I started believing in myself and what I could achieve," Stjepanović said.

Lubna Khalid Al Qasimi
HE Sheikha Lubna bint Khalid bin Sultan Al Qasimi is the Minister for Foreign Trade and was previously Minister of Economic and Planning of the United Arab Emirates. She was appointed on 1 November 2004. Sheikha Lubna holds the distinction of being the first woman to hold a ministerial post in the United Arab Emirates. She is a member of the ruling family of Sharjah and the niece to His Highness Dr. Sheikh Sultan bin Mohamed Al-Qasimi. Lubna graduated from the California State University, Chico with a Bachelor's Degree in Computer Science, and has an Executive MBA from the American University of Sharjah. Lubna received an honorary doctorate of science from California State University, Chico.
Shweta Subram is a multi-lingual Indo-Canadian singer, songwriter and performer. She primarily sings in Hindi, though she has also lent her voice to Tamil and English projects. Shweta is the recipient of multiple awards including the North American Best Singer award from Sangam Kala Group, and Best Singer Award from Shankar Mahadevan Academy's talent hunt, judged by Shankar Mahadevan himself. Saqr bin Mohammad Al Qassimi
Sheikh Saqr bin Muhammad Al Qasimi was the Emir of Ras Al Khaimah, a sheikhdom of the Persian Gulf and member of the United Arab Emirates, from 1948 to 2010. He became the Ruler of Ras Al Khaimah on 17 July 1948, when he overthrew his uncle and father-in-law Sheikh Sultan bin Salim Al Qasimi in a bloodless coup d'etat. Saqr exiled Sultan to Sharjah. Under his rule, Ras Al Khaimah joined the United Arab Emirates in 1972. At the time of his death in 2010, he was the world's oldest reigning monarch at age ~90.

Maitha bint Mohammed bin Rashid Al Maktoum is a karate and taekwondo athlete and sheikha of Dubai. Representing the United Arab Emirates in the 2006 Asian Games, she won the silver medal at the Women's Over 60 Kilogram karate event. She is the daughter of Sheikh Mohammed bin Rashid Al Maktoum. In March 2008, the UAE National Olympic Committee announced Sheikha Maitha's participation at the 2008 Summer Olympics. She participated in taekwondo in the 67 kg category for women. Issa bin Zayed Al Nahyan
Issa bin Zayed Al Nayhan is the son of United Arab Emirates President Zayed bin Sultan Al Nahyan; the brother of the present ruler of Abu Dhabi, the Emir Khalifa bin Zayed Al Nahyan; and the brother of Crown Prince Mohammed bin Zayed Al Nahyan. Issa is a prominent real estate developer in the UAE, being associated most recently with the Al Hekma Tower planned in memory of Sheikh Zayed Bin Sultan Al Nahyan, the late President of the UAE with an image of him which will crown the top of the building. In April 2009 a video tape of torture smuggled out of the United Arab Emirates showed Issa mercilessly torturing a man with whips, electric cattle prods, wooden planks with protruding nails and running him over repeatedly with a car.
Humaid bin Rashid Al Nuaimi
Sheikh Humaid bin Rashid al-Nuaimi, succeeded his father Shaikh Rashid and became the emir of Ajmān in 1981 and he is the current emir of Ajmān. Under his reign, the state saw rapid changes from a small fishing town at the time of independence to a modern emirate. He received his early education in Dubai in the 1940s and 1950s and later went to Cairo for further studies. In the early 1970s he became active in the affairs of state, as Ajman joined the United Arab Emirates in December 1971 and he was required to act as a deputy ruler. His elder brother Shaikh Ali was sidelined in the process. He belongs to the Al Nuaim tribe. Sheikh Khalid bin Saqr Al Qasimi
Sheikh Khalid bin Saqr Al Qasimi is the former Crown Prince and Deputy Ruler of Ras al-Khaimah, the northernmost Emirate of the United Arab Emirates. He is the eldest son of Sheikh Saqr bin Mohammad al-Qassimi, who ruled Ras Al Khaimah from 1948 until his death in 2010. Khalid served as Crown Prince and Deputy Ruler of Ras Al Khaimah from 1958 until his removal from office by his father in June 2003. He currently resides in Sharjah, a neighboring Emirate. Khalid has repeatedly stated that his father, Sheikh Saqr, in 2004 reaffirmed in a royal decree that Sheikh Khalid – not his half-brother, Sheikh Saud bin Saqr al Qasimi – was the true Crown Prince and Deputy Ruler of Ras Al Khaimah. The decree has not been officially recognized by the Government of Ras Al Khaimah or the United Arab Emirates.

Sheikh Saeed bin Maktoum bin Hasher Al Maktoum was the Ruler of Dubai from 1912 until his death in 1958. In 1929, he was briefly deposed and succeeded by Sheikh Mani bin Rashid, a distant uncle. He was restored three days later and reigned until his death in 1958. He is the grandfather of the current ruler Mohammed bin Rashid Al Maktoum and father of Emirates Airline chairman Ahmed bin Saeed Al Maktoum.
