Hip hop Artist
Moses Michael Levi, better known by his stage name Shyne, is a Belizean hip hop recording artist, who relocated to the Brooklyn borough of New York City as a teenager. He is perhaps best known for his time under Bad Boy Entertainment and a 1999 shooting incident that led to his nine year incarceration. He was released from prison in 2009 and was subsequently deported back to Belize.
Dean Oliver Barrow is a Belizean politician who has been Prime Minister of Belize since 2008. He is also the leader of the United Democratic Party. An attorney by trade, he served as Deputy Prime Minister and Minister of Foreign Affairs from 1993 to 1998 and was Leader of the Opposition from 1998 until the UDP won the February 2008 election. Barrow started his first term as Prime Minister after victory in the 2008 election. He started his second term after the UDP again won an election on 7 March 2012.
Deon McCaulay is a Belizean international footballer, who plays for Belmopan Bandits in the Premier League of Belize.
George Cadle Price
The Right Honourable George Cadle Price, P.C., was the first Prime Minister of Belize and is considered to have been one of the principal architects of the country's independence. Today he is referred to by many as "the Father of the Nation". Born in Belize City, in what was then British Honduras, to William and Irene Price, he entered politics in 1947 with his election to the Belize City Council. In 1949, with the devaluation of the British Honduran Dollar he, together with a group of citizens formed the People's Committee. It was the start of the "Peaceful, constructive Belizean revolution". On September 29, 1950, he co-founded the People's United Party, which he led for four decades and which was devoted to the political and economic independence of the British colony, then known as British Honduras.

Said Wilbert Musa is a Belizean lawyer and politician. He was the Prime Minister of Belize from 28 August 1998 to 8 February 2008.

Sir Manuel Esquivel, KCMG, PC is a Belizean politician. As leader of the United Democratic Party, he served as Prime Minister from 1984 to 1989, and then again from 1993 to 1998.
Barry Mansfield Bowen KCMG was a Belizean bottling magnate, politician and entrepreneur. Bowen was the second wealthiest citizen of Belize as of 2010. His business interests included Bowen and Bowen, Ltd., which was founded by his father, and is the exclusive bottler of Coca Cola products in Belize and the Belize Brewing Company, which brews Belikin beer. Bowen also served as a former member of the Senate of Belize and the financier of the People's United Party. In December 2007, Queen Elizabeth II knighted Bowen as a Knight Commander of the Order of St Michael and St George.

Petters is a founder of mathematical astronomy, focusing on problems connected to the interplay of gravity and light and employing tools from astrophysics, cosmology, general relativity, high energy physics, differential geometry, singularities, and probability theory. His monograph "Singularity Theory and Gravitational Lensing" is the first to develop a mathematical theory of gravitational lensing. Olympic Track and field Athlete
Kenneth Medwood is a Belizean track and field athlete, specializing in the 400 metres hurdles. He competed in the 2011 IAAF World Championships in Athletics and was his nation's flagbearer in the opening ceremonies of the 2012 Summer Olympics. Medwood grew up in Los Angeles, attending Theodore Roosevelt High School, where he was a three time Los Angeles City Section Champion in the high jump. In both 2005 and 2006, he finished in a tie for 4th place at the CIF California State Meet. He also played basketball and tennis. Next he attended East Los Angeles College where he began to excel in the long hurdles. He was the state community college champion both years, establishing the state record in the 400 hurdles at 51.63. His next stop was Long Beach State University where he was runner up in the Big West Conference in both the 400 hurdles and long jump. He set his personal record in the 400 hurdles at the 2012 Mt. SAC Relays, running 49.54.

Evan Anthony Hyde is a Belizean writer and journalist. He publishes and writes for the nation's largest newspaper, the Amandala, and oversees its subsidiaries, KREM Radio and Krem Television. Between 1969 and 1974 he headed the United Black Association for Development which demanded better conditions for Belize's black people and emphasized unity. He earned a B.A. in English from Dartmouth College.

Reyenaldo Ignacio Martínez, also known as Chito, was the first player in the history of Major League Baseball to be born in the country of Belize. Born in Belize City, he spent parts of three seasons with the Baltimore Orioles, hitting 13 home runs in his rookie season and posting a slugging percentage of .514 in 216 at bats. It would be the high point of his career. After his power dropped dramatically in 1992, Martínez quickly faded away. He appeared in eight games in 1993 before disappearing from the major leagues.
Kareem Ferguson born in Belize, is an American actor on theater and in films and television. He has also directed one short film The Touch and produced two others, Three Takes and Talking with the Taxman About Poetry. Ferguson is a classically trained actor receiving his Masters of Fine Arts Degree in Acting from the Professional Theater Training Program at the University of Wisconsin–Milwaukee. He has been on stage in the United States and overseas and acted in a number of television shows on NBC and CBS. Kareem Ferguson has worked in regional theaters such as the Guthrie, Alliance, Pioneer and Penumbra Theatre companies. He is a company member of the Actors Gang Theater and Ensemble Studio Theater. He was nominated as "Best Lead Actor" for the NAACP 2011 Theater Awards for the play Free Man of Color. Born in Belize, he now resides in Los Angeles. He is also a licensed Private Pilot and is a fanatic of aviation.

Dame Elmira Minita Gordon GCMG GCVO is the former Governor General of Belize from its independence in 1981 to 1993. She was the first woman in a Commonwealth realm to assume the position of Governor General. As Governor General she also held the title of Patron to the Scout Association of Belize and the Belize Girl Guides Movement.

A reshuffle of the Cabinet in 2010 left him with just Foreign Affairs and Foreign Trade. In 2012 he was again made the Attorney General of Belize. He remains the current Minister of Foreign Affairs. Elrington read law at the University of the West Indies. He is the only Belizean who has served in the executive, the legislative and the judicial arms of government, having served as a part-time judge of the Supreme Court of Belize.
